Pace of Play

• Play ready golf at all times

• Limit ball searches

• Pick up at double bogey, record triple

• Target round time: 4.5 hours

• Groups slowing play may be asked to speed up, skip holes, or stop

Regular Season Play

• Play by the rules you are comfortable with

• Be consistent in how you play and score

• Report your own score honestly

• Indicate your regular tee and use it consistently

• Most members do not follow strict USGA rules.

• Some take mulligans, improve lies, skip bunkers, or concede putts. This is acceptable if:

  • It does not affect other players

  • It does not slow pace of play

General Playing Guidelines

• Safety first. Move your ball to a safe spot, no closer to the hole, no penalty

• “Lost in plain sight.” Take a free drop nearby with group agreement

• Wrong ball. No penalty, correct before next hole

• Accidental deflection. Play it as it lies, no penalty

• Improve lie within one club length

• Follow all course rules and ASGC Code of Conduct

• Tournament rules are shared in advance
